Warranty and Return Policy


Signature Designer Rugs offers a 90 day warranty for manufacturer defects of workmanship. Signature reserves the right to make the defect correct. The defective product will be repaired or replaced at manufacturer’s discretion. Any product that may be repaired to be as good as new will be repaired. Rugs will not be remade unless Signature manufacturing department deems it necessary.


Custom designs without specific detailed diagrams supporting the purchase order. Custom designs meaning: Any rug that is not shown in the Signature design catalog (or) changes made to an existing design that is shown in the Signature design catalog. (Need diagram even with minor changes).

Freight Damage: Any merchandise received from Signature Rugs by a shipping carrier that has visible damages must be refused by the customer. The shipping carrier will automatically return the merchandise to Signature along with a damage report which is crucial when filing a claim with the shipping carrier. If the customer receives the merchandise with freight damage, Signature will no longer be held responsible.

Damage caused by improper unwrapping of the plastic packaging once rug has been received is not covered under the warranty.

Examples: Slits in the binding, backing or rug due to using knives or scissors, etc. when cutting the plastic from the rug. We recommend using scissors to cut both ends of the packaging and then holding the plastic up and away from the rug before cutting plastic down the length of the rug.

Soiling , matting or crushing or any changes in the appearance in retention of the carpet is not covered under the warranty. Fading due to sunlight, and chemicals etc. are also not covered.


Please contact the offices of Signature Designer Rugs to request a return authorization. You will be faxed or mailed a return authorization form. All information requested must be provided in order to best serve you. Once done, prepare the package for shipping and fax the completed return authorization form along with notification using your company's letterhead stating that the merchandise is packaged and ready to be returned and repaired. The Signature Rug offices will make arrangements to have a shipping carrier come to your location with a call-tag to pick up the merchandise.

NOTE: Merchandise being returned or shipped to Signature Rugs excluding defects of manufacturing workmanship are the customer's responsibility.

NOTE: Any merchandise being returned without a return authorization having been processed, will automatically be refused by Signature Rugs.

Packaging requirements for returns: All rugs must be rolled onto a core and wrapped in a durable plastic or box. When rolling the rugs onto a core, please roll with the carpet side facing in. Rugs should never be rolled with the carpet side facing out. This will cause broken seams. If this occurs due to improper packaging, charges will apply.
